Host a birthday party at the K.U.B.E. Indoor Playground

Plymouth residents and nonresidents can host a birthday party at the indoor playground during specific hours and days.

Birthday party rentals include two-hour access to an adjacent party room (maximum capacity: 24) and 10 playground admissions. Additional playground admissions may be purchased at a discounted rate on the day of the birthday party. 

Note: Party rooms cannot be rented unless you are hosting a party at the K.U.B.E. Indoor Playground or PCC gym. All party room rentals must be associated with the playground or gym. Birthday parties must be booked in advance and are not allowed in lounge spaces.

Two-Hour Rental Times

• Fridays: 5-7 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
• Saturdays: 9-11 a.m., 9:30-11:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., noon to 2 p.m., 2-4 p.m., 2:30-4:30 p.m., 4:30-6:30 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
• Sundays: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., noon to 2 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Additional fees: $25 refundable damage deposit due at time of booking

Rent the Entire Playground

Plymouth residents and nonresidents can rent the entire indoor playground for two hour timeslots during specific hours on Saturdays and Sundays. See hours below.

Rentals are granted two-hours of exclusive use of the playground for up to 50 people, and access to adjacent party rooms. Those interested in exclusive playground rentals can contact Community Center staff at communitycenter@plymouthmn.gov or 763-509-5200 or book with the button below.

Rental fees are non-refundable. Fees may be applied to a rescheduled date, if booked within the same calendar year. View party room policies and guidelines.

Host a Birthday Party in the Gym

Plymouth residents and nonresidents can host a youth birthday party at the PCC gym on Saturdays and Sundays.

Birthday party rentals include 2 hours of access to an adjacent party room and 1.5 hours of private gym access (maximum capacity: 20 kids, 10 adults). Basketball, volleyball, pickleball, badminton, floor hockey, soccer, flag football, and table tennis will be available.

Please note: Party rooms cannot be rented unless you are hosting a party at the K.U.B.E. indoor playground or PCC gym. All party room rentals must be associated with the playground or gym. 

Two-Hour Rental Time Slots

• Saturdays: Noon to 2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
• Sundays: 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.

Host an Art Party

Celebrate your birthday or special event in an art studio at the PCC.

Art Parties are designed for kids ages 5-12. 

What's Included?

• Party for up to 12 children (maximum of 16 children)
• Instructor collaborates with the renter to choose a party theme
• Project options include acrylic or watercolor canvas painting and mask making
• 2 hours in a private room, including setup and cleanup time
• 90 minutes of instructor-led art activities with all materials provided
• 30 minutes reserved for renter-led activities (cake, gifts, food, etc.)
• Room includes a sink and electrical outlet (no refrigerator or microwave available)

Rate

• $250 per party + $25 refundable damage deposit

Host a STEM Party

STEM-tastic parties that are down to a science! Celebrate your birthday or special event with The STEM Lab of Minnesota at the Plymouth Community Center. Our team takes care of set-up and clean-up so that you can enjoy the experience along with your child.

• Party for up to 10 children (additional children: $15 each, maximum of 16 children)
• Themed party favors and gear provided to help kids look the part
• 1 hour and 45 minutes in a private room with a sink and electrical outlets (no refrigerator or microwave); includes setup and cleanup time
• 75 minutes of instructor-led STEM activities, including all materials and equipment
• 30 minutes for renter-led activities (cake, gifts, food, etc.)
• Optional add-on: Cotton candy – $2 per child

Plymouth residents and nonresidents can host a birthday party in the Fieldhouse at the PCC on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (limited availability due to other rentals). 

Birthday party rentals include 2 hours of half field (45 yards x 60 yards) access for up to 20 people, and exclusive access to an area with tables and chairs adjacent to the Fieldhouse. 

Soccer balls, footballs and more can be provided. Renters are welcome to bring their own balls as well. Inflatables are unavailable during birthday party rentals. 

Note: The walking track around the perimeter of the fieldhouse will remain open to the public during birthday party rentals. 

Birthday Party Rental Rates

Primetime hours: Fridays after 5 p.m., all day Saturday and Sunday

Non-primetime hours: Fridays until 5 p.m.

• Deposit: $100 refundable damage deposit is due at time of booking.

The Plymouth Room features large windows on the north and west sides, which give a spectacular view of the Millennium Garden, and natural area of the Plymouth Creek Park Reserve. It comes complete with tables and chairs for up to 250 people. A built-in bar, stage and video system complete the package of what you will want to enhance your day and wow your guests.

VIEW PLYMOUTH ROOM AVAILABILITY

Rates

Half of the Plymouth Room is available to rent, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the below rates. Half room fits up to 128 guests. 

• Resident: $700
• Nonresident: $825

Additional fees:

• Deposit: $750 refundable damage deposit is due 60 days before the event date

Included in rates:

• Tables and chairs, and set up and takedown
• Projector and screen, hookups for laptops
• Microphone 
• Built-in bar
• Free on-site parking

Linens are required if food/beverages are being served. Please note that linens are not included in the rental rate. 

Room Layout

The Plymouth Room square footage is 3,500 square feet and can fit a capacity of:

• Buffet: 250 people
• Plated: 300 people
• Audience: 400 people

Those interested in a buffet for more than 250 guests may rent out the Cedar Room for an additional $500.

Your event may require more or fewer tables – each event is set up according to your individual needs.

4. Submit an application and rental agreement (PDF), and make your initial payment.
   • Initial payment is due at the time of booking. Payments can be made via credit card, cash or check.
     • Plymouth Room: 50% due at the time of booking
     • Millennium Garden and all other room rentals: 100% due at the time of booking
       
       
5. Submit payment for remaining balance (damage deposit and remaining room rental fee) 60 days prior to the event date. Payment is due in full if booking an event space within 60 days of the event date.
